the setting for disabling the editor is part of the price package:
GD – Prices and Payments – Price – Edit – Disable editor?
If that isn’t working, write back with your site details and we can take a look.
Did you add a category to each place?
Set a default location?That is not yet available but we will point to it from the blog as soon as it it.
Add Date search to Advance Search at
GD – Event Settings – Advance Search – Search by date (such that it appears on the right side)
For category:
GD – Event Settings – Custom Fields – Category – Include this field in advanced search – “Yes”

When you say “it doesn’t send email” to the new user, do you mean that when you make a new user registration through the front end, that there is no email sent at all, and that nothing shows up n the log?

Yes, and so, on the search page results when using ‘near me’, when there is a location to measure from, then the distance is shown.
Distance is not shown on other types of archive pages.

It looks like you are pointing out a string that has not yet been translated.
You can open the PO file in POedit and find the string to translate it.

The #loginbox widget that comes with GD core contains all of the user-specific links including change password.
By default GD uses the same Gravatar system as wordpress.org for user profile images. You can only change this with customization or choosing a plugin to handle your profiles.
Many of our GD members have chose to use our UsersWP plugin, which also comes with GD integration for pretty profiles that also display “My Listings”.

(Loginbox does a lot more than just provide a login box, because once the user logs in, it displays all the links I mentioned).
Location meta shows on location pages, and only if you are using the location in the URL.
If your directory is in more than one region, you should have the full location in the URL, in which case there would be a URL for the country, and the region, and the city.
Each of those would then display the location meta, if it has been added.
