If you are using Yoast, then use Yoast.
Otherwise, yes, you can use GD, but first there is a setting to Override Yoast at GD > Titles and Metas.
Then you can use GD to set titles and metas.

Now that your GD Permalinks are in place, and Yoast has recreated the sitemap, the URL errors I was seeing are fixed up.
You can add widgets to your GD Home page so that URLs like this show your listings:
http://www.mydirectory.com/location/united-kingdom/carmarthenshire/rhandirmwyn/

You can try to track down the conflict yourself by disabling all the non-GD plugins.
We can also take a look, please include the full FTP credentials for further diagnosis.

Custom Fields are “per CPT”, meaning, if a field is created in one CPT, it must then be recreated on the additional CPT.
I am not able to login with the credentials, please check the and I can try again to take a look at the settings.
