Hello!
I was able to login and view the GD > Permalinks settings, where I noticed some issues with text render for the fields. That seems to be caused by a plugin conflict.
It’s a common practice to use the GD Plugin Widgets to build a custom home page. Your page looks good.
One of the most useful/powerful widget is the GD > Popular Post View, which provides a number of filters. Use more than one to add ‘sections’ of listings for each category.
Let us know if there is something else we can do.

We do our best to keep GeoDirectory up to date with changes that come from W3C and open standards. We appreciate you pointing this out and have added it to our task list for implementation at a later time when we work on that area of the Addon.
Unfortunately we don’t have a quick fix for this at the moment, though, but keep your eyes open for this to be included in feature releases.
Thanks!

Helping visitors find the Location pages with a list of links might help.
You can add the location switcher to the main menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
You can also create a page with links to all locations:

Hello!
“Search” is a wide topic. There are two documents we highly recommend where we discuss search features and search results:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/searching-and-browsing/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/Be sure to visit your Custom Post Type (CPT) and the Sorting tab
GD > CPT (Places) > Sorting
Take a look at those and let us know if you have more questions

Hello!
The screenshots look fantastic! Great work! The attention to detail really sets that map apart.
Nice job!
Hello!
Sounds like a great customization! I can move this thread to the GD Jobs forum, or you can make a new post there.

Hello!
We just had a look at someone’s Thrive site : https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/h3-title-tags-hidden/#post-404564
It looks as if there is some inline style stripping happening from the header?
So, CSS for GD should be added to GD > Design > Scripts > Footer
Else they might not show
Hello!
Just adding a bit here to say that in the future, for additional GD CSS, it will probably be a good idea to try them in the footer like that, too.
Hello!
We aim for compatibility, and there are no currently known issues: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/
So this must be something we can figure out. Have you already gone through this?: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/
We’d be happy to take a look at your site to discover what the issue is.

We’d be happy to take a look at your site to discover what the issue is. We can check that by disabling all non-GD plugins and seeing if the issue with Thrive persists. Have you already done that?
If not, what happens when you try? Are you sure it is Thrive? You can make a private reply and include your site URL along with admin credentials in case you would like us to take a look at your site settings. If not, we can point you in the right direction for a discussion with Thrive devs.

Hello!
You can build your own home page. Create a page, then visit GD > Permalinks and choose that as your GD_Home page. Then tell WordPress > Settings > Reading , too.
When you have that set, then visit Appearance > Widgets and choose all the widgets like GD Home Map to put on the page. You can make the map 900 X 100% to make a huge map.
Let us know how that works for you
