So, the export file is showing the correct format.
I recommend you merge your post information into that file, then try uploading again.
If your data doesn’t fit, then you will need to add new fields, export again, and then merge your data.

You could create an ‘article’ CPT, and allow your vendors with places listings to link from places to ‘only’ the articles they have created. Does that help?

For you, make sure the default category you choose is also listed in the post_category column.
I cannot recreate that. Try a conflict test, that sort of thing is usually a plugin conflict.
