What you might want to do is use the advanced options in the Location manager settings:
GeoDirectory – Settings – Location – Show advanced
You can try the option that will skip updating the address if the map pin is moved.
Unless you don’t want to use address or maps at all, probably you want to leave the physical location for the CPT enabled. That setting is in:
Places -> Settings – General – Show advanced – Disable physical location

November 1, 2019 at 10:50 am in reply to: Address/Map not working when adding new Place in GDV2. #515562Hello,
you are still using V1 addons for Claim and Location Manager.
You have a lot of listings. I would recommend you revert to a backup and follow the instructions for upgrading to V2 here, as your data will not have been properly upgraded.

Hello,
what happens when you view that page?
It should redirect you to a URL where you see a form.
If it is not the correct form for the gd_business, change the CPT slug in the URL to gd_business.
Then link to that form.
If you have already added your custom fields to the gd_business CPT, then all active fields will automatically show on the page.
If we need to take a look please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply along with login URL and a link to the page where you took the screenshot.
Please take a look now.
CSS added to customizer
The developer that normally works on the API is out for the week.
In general, the answer to your question is yes, with the exception that field keys are always lowercase.
I will ask the developers to take a look at your questions as soon as possible.
You can customize that with a snippet, see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/layout-of-event-listings/#post-503008
November 1, 2019 at 6:59 am in reply to: Help retrieving email address and other data from imported listings #515544For displaying GD Info on GD templates like the GD Details page:
The GD templates are easily edited inside WP because they are WP Pages. You can find an overview of the template system here, and I recommend you take a look at the Details page template first.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/For using GD listing data in another plugin:
A table is created for each CPT, and the value will be stored in the table with the same key used to create the field.
An example for getting field values can be seen here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/output-location-name-in-description/#post-515154Also see:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/customizing/This reply has been marked as private. What browsers are you using?
Sometimes clearing cache takes some effort.
Which fields do you need to hide?
You can find CSS examples to get you started here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#gd_search
Can you share a link to the page and explain more about what you are trying to hide?
Also include WP Admin credentials in a private reply if we need to check the settings.
October 31, 2019 at 3:07 pm in reply to: Any way to restrict search results to a specific Category #515508All the available options are in the shortcode builder.
Use that to configure the options you want.

If you want to hide fields you can find example CSS here:

GeoDirectory has settings to change the ‘from’ email address for emails GD sends.
You can find that at
GeoDirectory – Settings – Email – Email Sender Options – Email address
