Ninja Forms is a separate plugin, you can check with them about addons.
You can make a new Archive page that is only for the events CPT, set that in the Events CPT General settings tab.

All custom fields have an option to make them inactive. Setting it to “Active” was the solution.
This reply has been marked as private.This is usually done with the ‘featured’ field. Sorting by ‘featured’ is possible.
Sorting by a single category first isn’t possible without a customization.
If you want to display all the listings in a single category, that is possible, and so is displaying only featured listings. You can do that with GD Listings.

The settings look correct. The dropdown looks strange, probably a CSS conflict which we can take a look at.
If you are exporting categories from one CPT for import to another you will need to make changes to the export before re-import, removing the ID and changing the post type. Then to minimize errors probably remove all the existing categories. Then import with option 1.
