It worked fine for me.
Maybe a cache issue.Where are you hosted? This reply has been marked as private. You make some good points about the way the field validation behaves.
In the case of your site, the error is showing on top of the header, but, otherwise it would be under the header. Would that be preferable for you?

You may be looking at the field description or label.
Try changing the values in the custom fields themselves.
For the ones that are strings, yes, they should be in the core PO file. Try POedit (definitively reliable) for editing PO files to see if that works. We provide support for PO file or WPML translation.
You can adjust the site timezone.
To change previous places you can use import export. Export the listings, edit, re-import.

Please make sure to share the URL you were trying to import.
Trip Advisor has a complex URL system.
A novel idea, thanks for sharing. I have made a note of it for the developers to consider.
At this time there aren’t any options for these items so they would require a customization.
That may be true, but, there might be an adjustment needed to make sure the page is visible, right?
My advice is to scroll the page. If scrolling the page does not show the field, then adjust the header or content settings so there is more white space to make the whole of the page visible.
If we need to check please share a link and any credentials needed to view.
If you are using Divi (or some other themes) there is a theme setting that will override the WP setting. Please check that and let us know.
Are you sure you are looking at an archive page? like /places/ ? This control only has an effect on archive pages like /places/ and /search/.
For other pages like the location page you will need to adjust the posts shown with the shortcode parameted.
If those are the issue and we need to check the settings please write back in a private reply with WP Admin credentials.
Thanks

Hello,
the listing will save several times (in the background) which is why there is a loader circle icon on the submit button. This does take some time and we are looking into ways to improve that in future versions.
The cart page is not automatically populated during the first time load for a new user. For WP Invoicing the page will autopopulate from details stored in the user’s invoice history account.
Make sure your search radius is large. If you want to return near search results ‘near Ontario’ the results will be limited by the search radius.
Try adding ca like ‘ontario, ca’
