There does appear to be a problem with registration, specifically with the activation email.

This reply has been marked as private.Google took the lat/lon and analyzed it and decided the town was different. Google will do what they will with your data. You should contact Google about it as this is not a GD issue.

There is no problem, as far as I can understand it. The renew button should be placed on the GD Details page, in the sidebar or in the listing. Renew is displayed with the GD Author Actions widget.
Maybe you can use CSS to make it bigger so that it jumps out at the users.
You can also show the expire data on the listing so they can see when it expires.
As long as they renew the listing there should be no problem with what you want to do.
Make sure to login with the account used to purchase the addons so we can provide more support.

the issue is that GDV1 has been upgraded to GDV2, but the conversion has not yet been completed.
You can login at /wp-login.php
That is specific to your machine. Try searching the problem in Google.
