The developers are asking if you could please make a WP Admin and FTP account that you can manage and share it when you need to with complete WP Admin and FTP details.
Once they have the details they can take a deeper look at the issue.

I think what you are looking for is the Default Post type setting. You can find that in the advanced options for the GD Map element. First select the map type, then choose the default post type.

You can try this out easily by simply removing the default map tab and then adding a new GD Map widget to the sidebar on your details page.
Use the advanced options in the widget. First select post map. Then option you are looking for is “Use post map zoom and type?” and you want to make sure that is checked/enabled.

GD V2 does not offer social links anymore, so you will need to find a different 3rd party plugin for that.

In the meantime, the only way to get rid of one of the entries with built in settings is to set the GD Details page -> featured area to None.
