March 31, 2020 at 7:37 pm in reply to: Category Filter – Display Map Pin to match with Category Filter when selected #537662Hello,
the map pin displayed is determined by the default category.
If your category custom field is set to Select or Checkbox type you can see in the UI how to select the default category.
For number 2 please share a screenshot, I am not clear on what you are describing.

What is the site URL please?
Hello,
many plugins like GeoDirectory create their own Custom Post Types.
Usually WP categories and tags only apply to WordPress Posts, and will not apply to the CPTs created by other plugins, and this is the case for GD, too.
More info about categories is available here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/categories/
That shows how to add and edit categories. To import listings, it is highly recommend that you first add a listing, and then export that listing. This will give you a CSV file into which you can merge your data. Please check out this page for more information, including a recommended procedure.

When viewing listings in an import export file the categories are represented by the category ID. You can get the ID from the Add/Edit categories screen that lists all the categories.

Add one for each post type.
That snippet will only disable email notifications. In an upcoming version we have added a feature to disable invoices completely for free versions. This is being tested now and will be released soon.
It is not a menu, just a simple feature, and menu items cannot be added to it.
We are looking into adding a feature like what you describe in the future, though.
