Hello,
please share site info so we can take a look.First add a listing and populate your fields, then export that listing, then merge data into that exported CSV.

You can allow logged out users to post (and register) on the add listing page with the setting at:
GD – Settings – General – Show advanced – Allow posting without logging in?

you can adjust your default location in the settings:
GD – Settings – General – Default Location
Then when you edit a listing type in the address within the area of that default location.
Once you have set the maps API to open street maps revisit the default location and make sure you are seeing data from open street maps there.
To add listings outside of the default location you will need the location manager addon
