When you get it set up on the front end, try the chrome inspector as described on this page.
March 27, 2019 at 7:23 pm in reply to: Restaurant attachments not being able to move since wordpress 5.1.1 #476724Hi David!
That’s really WEIRD, and we haven’t seen that particular issue.
Please update the site to to problematic version (on a staging site if needed) and send over the URL and FTP information and we will happily look into it.March 27, 2019 at 7:10 pm in reply to: Results by cateogry not showing in alphabetical (default) order #476722When you select the category you are taken to the archive page for that category, where the default sort is defined in the CPT sorting options. see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/
Search results are sorted by relevance
March 27, 2019 at 6:59 pm in reply to: Limit all recurring events to display only a single event #476721I will flag your topic for the developers. I am not sure how they planned to add this to GDV2 events management.
Thanks for your patience while they look into it.
March 27, 2019 at 6:54 pm in reply to: List all subcategories of particular categories in CPT #476720It is not possible in V2 either without a customization.
GD Categoris for GDV2 has a lot more options than in GDV1, but it is still not possible to limit the selection to a particular parent category.
Can you say more about what you are trying to do?
Because if you are looking for a query then you can open up the plugin and look in a number of places to see how category queries are done. Most members want to display either all the categories (on location page = browse all) or just the assigned categories (for example on a detail page = browse similar).
I can picture what you are looking for in my head, but, where would you use it? on a detail page? Based on the category of the detail page? Or just trying to show a certain specific category?
That is an Archive and the element cannot be changed without customization, but I will flag your topic for the developers in case they have a comment or a workaround.
Hello,
there is a new address block. You can change out the gd_post_meta you are using and add the gd_post_address block to display the address exactly how you want.
We will check into the effects of the custom field display settings and let you know.
I see, well, the link I sent was for writing HTML links. The process is similar for adding a link to an image.
This reply has been marked as private. This reply has been marked as private. Are you using a GD Post Title element to display the Title?
If so, then alter that element to output an h1.Can you share the page you are working on? Is it an archive? Is your theme delivering the title?
Please send a link to where you are seeing the problem with the map.
On the main directory page it looks fine.Hello,
we can take a look at that display issue and see about a solution.
Please share a link to the page in a private reply. You can also include WP Admin in case we need to check the settings.
The Post Type select on the map is not linked to other features, it only changes the display of CPTs on the map.
We do not do site setup activities in the forum. If you need hands on help you can contact an expert.
We do however have extensive documentation for you to do it yourself.
contact phone number, email address and website… I would now like these to show on the directory.
If your detail page is standard, then you can show those items on the page by editing the custom fields, each one, and choosing “Show in what locations” and adding “Details page sidebar” or More info tab. That should show them on the listing.
The send enquiry form should show up automatically if an email address is entered. It may be hidden by custom CSS if you were not using it before.

If you need hands on help, see our experts directory here to find a freelancer https://geodirectoryexperts.com/
If, after looking around, you cannot find the send enquiry button/form on a test listing that has an email (in the email field) then you can share WP Admin credentials here in a private reply and we can take a look at your settings and find the solution for that issue.
The site is getting a HTTP ERROR 500 and timeout, may be time to improve the resources.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#500Is that what you mean when you say “we lose geodirectory in the admin panel when we change site language from English to Turkish”?
If so please try this:
