In general the Search for field searches title/description/categories/tags
It has autocomplete for categories and listing titles
The search near field has IN search for locations in the db, then allows you to input any place and it will look up the center of that place.
The radius determines whether the listings are near enough to the center of the searched location to show in results.
Those are the generalities. Send more details about the specific search if you need more clarification.
Then maybe you are using V1?

If we need to check your settings please write back with WP Admin credentials. If this is a new directory you should be building with GDV2:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/You need Elementor pro for template pages
See:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/builders/I recreated the add listing page (2) and it works fine.
We will be testing again with Elementor and will take a look at the add listing page with it. Until then, because you are hosted on wp.com, you should use the basic page template for the add-listing page.
I can’t load the site, getting a timeout.
Let us know when the site is up againHi Joe,
I think I answered your questions over here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/add-listing-registration/
What email are you receiving from the Add listing form Name and Email fields?
It sounds to me like the BCC to admin for the listing published email.

GD doesn’t have settings for desktop/mobile display.
The GD > Ninja Forms widget is what makes the integration ‘magic’ and it loads in a modal, same for GD > Post ClaimHello,
why do you have UsersWP set to verification?
Does that mean you want the user to verify their email before they login and see the add listing form?
It sounds like you are using the inline form with Name and Email, the option to “Allow logged out users…”. This option will not send any email to the users.
What you might want to do is turn that option off, so users verify and login first through UsersWP. You can send users to the Registration page first before they add a listing. Then tell them when they login to go to the add listing form.
March 19, 2019 at 5:51 am in reply to: 507 and 503 error Insufficient Storage /Service unavailable #475245About the searching, please include a URL so we can see the search query you are using.
If you are using the “Near” and the radius is set to 175, then it should show. If you are using “IN: Los Lunas” then that will only show listings in los lunas.
Thanks Goakes,
This hasn’t actually been implemented yet, but it is part of the plan.
We have added a task to work on this for an upcoming release and will provide an update once complete.
Thanks
Login details are not working.
You want to search the custom field called donor, right? That will not be added. You can add a checkfield for the user to say “Hide my address” and then use 3rd party plugins or custom code to show/hide on the frontend. We have plans for role visibility but we don’t have a timeline for the development yet.
You probably want this one:
body ul.geodir-category-list-view>liYou’re welcome! 🙂
Please share WP Admin and FTP details so we can dig a little deeper. The markup around the entry is gone now, but I can still see it for sure.
