What do you mean “blocked fields”? Do you mean locked fields?
If the fields are left blank, and locked, then the child listings will have those fields blanked out also.

It sounds like you have used the options that are currently available. We don’t have snippets for other displays of event dates at this time.
I am sure you have already considered it, but of course it is possible to enter each day of a multi-day event or recurring event as a separate listing.
Recurring events and multi-day events both, these are actually just a single listing, but, I do take your meaning about wanting to display or have the option to display just the current date being looked at on the page.
For example, a recurring event with URL event-name/?gde=2019-03-04 , there could be a way to show just the information about that particular recurrence, perhaps to emphasize it or format it differently.
I have created added this to our list of feature requests, adding options for frontend display of event data. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.

The page had the add-listing shortcode, which is not needed for the main add-listing page.
