You can use the Elementor Free page builder on the GD Archive Item and Location page templates.
You will need Elementor Pro Theme Builder feature for the GD Details, Archive, and Search templates.
Hello,
we are checking into this, thanks for your patience.
March 22, 2020 at 7:58 am in reply to: Open GD Details map in Google Maps app in mobile devices #536048Add the “GD Post Directions” widget or as a shortcode, that is the new GDV2 way to do it.
For the Change Location switcher, the one with the clock is ‘recent’.
GD is a plugin, and can be used with any theme. Some elements inherit styles like link colors.
For GD Categories and the entire page you can add more as you like, that is the sample content you can find here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/front/Some folks add more than one GD Categories, one for each CPT, then add a title to the shortcode.
Use the shortcode builder to use all the options available:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/When categories have listings, then the categories show up on the automatic displays like the featured area.
I fixed the location page, it was set as the home page, and added a front page.
Hello,
did you try resaving permalinks?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/permalinks/#404
Normal permalinks should be set to post name.
Resaving permalinks should help.
On the location page template for Supreme, images are drawn from the Location database, the location image specifically.

Did you use the shortcode builder?
To create a GD Categories shortcode?

This param uses the cat default image:
use_image="1"
[gd_categories post_type="0" title_tag="h4" use_image="1" sort_by="count" max_level="1" max_count="all" max_count_child="all"]
Hello,
there isn’t a setting for that in Supreme, or with the GD Categories element that powers that feature.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/gd-categories/
If you want to do something like that, to pick the categories, or to switch over to links to CPTs, then you can use a full page template, hide that featured area, and then recreate it the way you want with the builder. Most people are doing that with a builder, making a list of CPTs or Categories they want to link to, instead of customizing the widget with PHP.
If Supreme isn’t working the way you want, GDV2 works with any theme.
As long as the “Is Claimed” field is not checked, then users can claim the listings.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/
What you show is the author…every listings needs to have an author. When a user claims the listing, then, you approve it, upon approval the author is switched to the new user.
Ah, ok, sorry, missed that in Spanish.
The field is marked ‘Admin only’
Check the field settings and UNCHECK that. It is inside the Custom Fields advanced options, using the blue button.
Hello,
I adjusted some widgets applied to the details page.
If you are seeing other issues, please be specific so we can advise.
Is it normal? I wish limit type of files in the Add Listing page.
It is normal. If you want to control the file types, then add a new custom file upload field.
Sorry for the delay, the developers are looking into the snippet.
Phone field appears to be working as expected. Are you still seeing an issue with it?
To add a new field, create a new one on the Custom Fields tab:
