Hello,
Are you using GDV1 or GDV2?
You can do that with shortcodes or widgets:

That looks better. What kind of error are you getting now?
Still being rejected because of location information?
Please share the exported file. If you would like us to check it out please include WP Admin credentials and login URL in a private reply.
You’re welcome
Feel free to make a new topic if you have more questions
You will need to merge locations, and in the process merge listings IN the locations into the destination location.
Location A – 1 listing
Location B -2000 listingsGo to locations tab, find the location in the cities subtab
Select them both, then select merge
Choose which to merge into
Merge
DoneYou will need to do that every so often to bring smaller ‘cities’ into larger areas.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/
Here is some of the CSS that makes that happen
.geodir_category_list_view li .geodir-post-img .geodir_thumbnail { padding: 0; float: left; width: 100px; background-position: 50% 50%; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: cover; min-width: 92%; max-width: 92%; position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; left: 0; right: 0; margin: 4%; }To do more we would need to see your V2 site.
The instructions are ‘verbose’ but should cover only the steps you need to take for a successful import batch.
That said, we ask you to make sure you are using an exported CSV for actual data.
Did you?
We are always happy to point out hooks and filters where they exist!

it looks like you are not using the export file to map your fields because at least a couple standard fields are missing.
You are using GDV2, so, please check our recommended procedure here.
If there is a column mismatch then a majority of listings will be rejected or load with mismatched field->field data.https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#recommended
As I understand it this has been fixed and will be included in the next version, which will be released very soon.
I will flag your topic for the developers who will provide an update if needed.
This reply has been marked as private. This could be an error related to the imported data.
Let’s continue the conversation here and assume they are related for the moment:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/new-listings-imported-but-not-created/Please remove any custom CSS applied to the map bubble to see the default functionality.
Google makes their own changes to the display and if you have custom CSS you will need to adapt that yourself. We can only help with the default display, if there are bugs.
AWESOME!
Do let us know if you rung into anything else
Marking this as resolved. Please zip the file and re-upload here.
