in GDV1 it is not possible to show the email field on the frontend using the built in GDV1 options.
This was a design decision made to prevent directory owners from feeding the spam scraper bits that regularly scan directories for email addresses.
Instead, you will need to create another custom field like “public_email” and give your users instructions about what you will do with the email address.Hi Robert,
Supreme will always be overwritten on update.
You can take the Supreme theme and rename it to be a different child theme so that it will no longer take updates.
To see how to setup a child theme, see: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/
If you need help with that, please contact a GD Expert here: https://geodirectoryexperts.com/experts
Hello,
that would be a customization, to have a different display order on mobile.
GD Listings for GDV2 does not have pagination.
Pagination is only available with in GDV2 with gd_loop, used on Archive and Search pages.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_loopCurrently input is done in 24 hour time, but shown in the format of your site in the settings at
WP – Settings – General
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/#business-hours
Ah, good point.
So, for your fix, make sure you do that 🙂
GD only has options to restrict access to WP Admin for certain roles.
You can find this setting at
GD – Settings – GeneralWell, you could make each one cost $5000?
There aren’t any other features in GD that would help you accomplish this.
You will need 3rd party plugins to accomplish this. If you need advice, recommendations or support with that please contact an expert here:
You can change that in the Titles and Meta section
GD – Settings – General – Titles and Meta
Make sure to check the setting for Yoast if you have that installed
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/#titles-and-meta
Glad you are making progress
Please open a new topic in the appropriate GDV2 subforum if you have more questions.
Thanks
We do not undertake any customizations here in the forum.
You can contact any of the experts on the site above and they will be able to help you.We are unable to provide additional support for this customization beyond the example of how to save on review.
If you need more help with this please contact a GD Expert here:
https://geodirectoryexperts.com/expertsWe are considering additional myCred integration for future versions. If you would like to see more hook examples you can try out our UsersWP MyCred integration here:
1. You can set the image size to be used in the GD Post Images option.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/#gd_post_imagesIf that isn’t working for you, please report your issues in your other topic: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/image-slider-height-in-detail-page/#post-469186
2. We have made a task to work on the new block, and will make an update here when it is ready for testing.
In the meantime there are a couple things you could try:
A. Add custom CSS to limit the display to a certain height:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#post_content
B. You could use a separate text custom field instead of the post_content field instead. Create the field in the CPT, then edit your Archive item template to use that field instead. Thanks
Hello,
GDV2 doesn’t include any user registration options.
You shoudl contact the author of whatever login or profile module you are using.
If you are using UsersWP, you can find information about the form builder here:
https://userswp.io/docs/userswp-form-builder/For questions about UsersWP please create a topic here: https://userswp.io/support/
Please share your site URL so we can check the error.
You can include WP Admin credentials in a private reply in case we need to check the settings. For some features you will need an SSL certificate for your site.
For most Google features you will need to add a billing account to your API Project.
Please confirm whether you have done those things.
If not, then it would be better to switch to OpenStreetMap for testing. You can do that at
GeoDirectory – Design – Map – Load Maps API – Open Street Map
