Sorry it wasn’t clear, but, you can download the release ahead of time here:
GD doesn’t have a forum feature. You will need to choose a 3rd party plugin. Most people choose bbpress or BuddyPress with whooop and bbpress.
The V1 doc is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting
We do not yet have a V2 Supreme demo. Not much has changed except that theer are more options for how the various GD pages can display listings.
GD doesn’t use xmlrpc, so, no problem there.
Some members have had success with 3rd party security plugins, but we don’t recommend any of them in particular.
Ones mentioned in the past include
Wordfences
SecuriOr a WP Search https://www.google.com/search?&q=wordpress+best+brute+force+security+xmlrpc
I just tested the page and it works if you login.
What or how are you testing it to find the error? The map will break if listings do not have a category. For example, if a single restaurant post does not have a category, then any archive page showing that listing on the map, the map will not behave properly.
If the code you add to wp-config causes errors, you should remove it.
You can make the paid package Featured, then set “Featured” as the sort:
Sorting options for archive pages are covered here:https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/sorting/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/That looks like the GDV1 po file.
Have you already translated the GDV2 po file for the GeoDirectory core plugin? This happens sometimes when a site is moved or the url is changed. It is a wp issue, not a GD issue.
icon urls are showing with an address like:
https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/https:/mysite.com/local/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2018/07/Health-and-medical-v2-medical-cross-48-by-48.pngThat usually means there is an issue with the site URL in
WP – Settings – General – URL 1 and 2
Try selecting, deleting, and retyping that value or changing it from your host.
If that fails you can try a plugin like Better Search Replace to fix it in the database.
Are you using GDV2 core plugin? Current version is here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/We have an FAQ about that here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/where-can-i-find-map-markers/
