You saved it as a tab delimited again, make sure to check your save settings.

I suggest you break the CSV files into chunks of 10 listings (and less if required) so you can work out what errors you are making.Can we have your FTP details, something went wrong updating a plugin.
If you want categories to appear in the menu, you have to add the categories in the WP menu settings, and remove them at the GD Navigation settings.

I think you might be able to do that with setting the default layout in Genesis to full width, and then choose other WP pages on an individual basis.You cannot have the login link change to logout, but you can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-customizer/ to style the WP login page.

The Author page is never in the WP pages list.
Your author page is probably there, install the GD Login widget and if the links to My Places or My favorites work, then you are looking at the author page.Post your WP admin details and URL in a private reply and we will have a check if you want us to.
If you need to fix missing files, download the ZIP file from https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/ to your computer, extract the files and overwrite all of them using FTP.
All settings are in the database, so they will not be changed by changing plugin files (which is not recommended anyway).
Are they strings that would be in one of the addon files?
