That means that you have not chosen the right buttons at GD > Design > navigation towards the bottom of the page. Or you’re not logged in as administrator or the owner of the listing.
1. That is not really a page but more like a template used for all different CPTs.
2. Just cooy the link from the address bar when you have the Add School page open.
You will have to re-upload using FTP.
Unzip on your computer and then upload. Not really. You will have to export your listings to a CSV file, manipulate the data, andthen import into GD.
If users click Add listing when not logged in, they should be redirected to the Add Listing page on registration, unless you use a custom registration process.
You cannot prevent people registering without adding a listing.
I suggest you just provide links to add listings and events only, then it should work approximately like you want it to.
You need to use 100 instead of 100%.
1. You should not use default region unless also use default country.
2. Because you did not delete the Popular places widget. You are using two widgets, one for each CPT.
3. Because you did not choose a title for the widget,so it uses the default title “popular places “.
4.I think you are talking about the difference between the location pages and the listings pages. Both use a different layout. Refer to the links I posted earlier.
5 and 6. Not sure if I know what you mean. i can see nightlife listed as a category.
7A. A sub-category is still a category but with a parent.
7B. No, unless you use the CPT categories widget.
7B. If you disable the location switcher, your site will no longer work properly.
8. Yes
8A. New pages will automatically be created for the new locations.

The easiest would be to register a new user from the frontend and then submit a listing as that user.
But that will send notifications to that user.
You can create users in the backend and set their role to author. Then create a listing in the backend and assign the listing to the user somewhere near the bottom of the page.
You may want to go back to users and change their role from author to subscriber.Go to Appearance > widgets and add a new Popular Post widget. In that widget select Biz as the CPT to display.
You now will have 2 widgets on your location pages, one widgets for each CPT.Adding the Popular Categories widget to a Top or content section of GD Home or GD Listings pages should show your most populated categories.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layoutYou can add more than one popular post widget to the location pages.
Just add another widget filtered to show biz listings.Well done 🙂
And thanks for letting us knowYou can’t change that. If you choose a location, it will go to the location page. Once you are on a location page, you will get all listings for that location, and then you can filter by CPTs and categories.
Go to GD > design > navigation and make sure to allow Schools to be added.
Also add the Add Listings links to your menu.
