Do you have a site for one region only?
Permalinks with only city in the URL will not work if you have a site for more than one region.Post your URL and admin details in a private reply if we need to have a look at your settings.
That would require a lot of customization which is outside support.
I can move this to the jobs section if you like.Just use the full width template for the wordpress pages where you do not want a sidebar.
