I changed the slug of the listing.You could create a link to a search page that has reference to the center of the “region” in the lat and lng in the URL, depending on your search radius?
Use a different slug for the listing? I guess there is a slug conflict.

I think you are just getting two messages from 2 different plugins.
VC will not update if it is packaged with a theme and you do not have a license.
Have you checked the GD license keys?With the free version, you can only add listings to one location.
You should get an error message when trying to add a listing outside the default area.

There is no state, aka “region” in the US and Canada that have the same name?
So I guess you have made up your own region names.
Unless you make up your own country name [absolutely not recommended!] and put all listings in that same region and country, the 2 regions cannot be combined.Can you check your pages at GD > GD Tools > GD pages check
Also check if you have all pages connected at GD > PermalinksIt looks like you skipped a few versions.
