January 30, 2016 at 7:11 am in reply to: Trouble with Custom Fields: Column creation failed, you may have too many column #114002
I have seen this before, but cannot remember how to fix it. Make sure you enter the right data, and post your URL and admin details, and I’ll get Stiofan to have a look at it. He fixed it straight away last time (of course 🙂 )
We cannot give any response until
1. We would need login credentials for the devsite.
2. You let Paolo know about https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/advance-search-by-custom-field-not-working/page/2/#post-111213
No, that is not possible. A Listing Map will always just show the listings called by the page, for example a whole custom post type, or a category or a subcategory.
If you use the popular category widget then that might assist navigation.Once they accept if for the site, their browser will remember.
Location specific widgets adjust to the location for the page. The featured listings will be shown for the location, either as geo-located or if the visitor chooses to go somewhere else, the widgets will adapt.
If you use the location switcher, you will be able to see always what location the site is locked into.
If they go back to the homepage, the location might be reset to everywhere, depending on your settings at GD > Multilocations > Home page should go to > ?The Advanced Search Addon will redirect the visitor to the closest location in your database, depending on your settings at GD > Advanced Search
It looks like you are not creating a translation, but you are just changing the English file.
You need to use the option “create a new translation”.
Not sure that will solve your trouble.Have you looked at
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/getting-translation-files/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/About issue #1, the developers have checked and found that it is due to the older version v0.0.3 installed on your site, please update it to v0.0.4.
We checked with recent version and those 2 fields are getting locked with v0.0.4.Please let us know if still have problem.
Thanks

You can just create your own table or use some plugin.
The page loads fine for me; I am in the same State as what the site is about, but don’t know where it is hosted.
For the Nightfall Camp and Ketchup listings, “Allow comments” was unticked in the edit area of the listing.
This probably had become unticked as a result of the “Disable Comments” plugin.
You can just turn comments on and off per post or page when you create the post, or maybe the settings for that plugin were wrong. You need to enter the old one I think, don’t worry about how many characters it shows.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/new-licence-updates-system-info/Are you trying to create a private group, rather than a hidden one?
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/bp-groups-widget-does-not-show-hidden-groups/Export using CSV, and change the entries in the following columns:
gd_is_franchise, gd_franchise_lock, franchiseFranchises need the post_Id of the main listing in the “franchise” column.
I can see quite a few errors when inspecting the errors with the console.
I’ll get the others to have a look too. That’s not possible without some special customization, I am afraid. Sorry.
