It can be useful to see all the listings that use the same tag for example.
Tags are not necessary at all, you can hide them with CSS, and/or set the tag character limit to zero in the price packages.

The widget in the bottom right of the demo is the “GD > Listing Slider” widget, which is part of the core GD plugin.
If you tick “show title” the slider will include a clickable link.

I have tested the activation emails and I directly received mine. Have you checked your spamboxes?

The possibility to feature listings is part of the Prices and Payments addon.
I don’t quite understand the rest of your post, sorry. I am not sure which demo featured listing you refer to, a link would assist.

You can add as many Popular Post widgets as you like on this page, one for each CPT if you want.
If you don’t want a map on that page, delete the GD Gmap widget from the GD Home Top section.

There is not much we can do without checking your analytics account. Make sure you are trying to connect the correct analytics subaccount, ie for the correct domain.

You can always delete the app you created already and start again.
