This is the shortcode principle: [gd_popular_post_view post_type=gd_event]
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#poppostNot sure how you intend to add that to FB, but it seems simpler to me to install the Social Imported addon, which will give you the ability to post the event straight from your admin area.
Just checking: is your Social Importer version 1.1.5?
Can you post your WP admin details in a private reply, so we can have a look for you.But you would not normally use the Customizer unless you are changing design, would you?
And it never can be used or affect your users or visitors.I am not sure anymore what I did, but I think your GD pages had gone missing (deleted by accident?) at GD > GD Tools > Check GD pages. They all work now, don’t they?
Probably best to turn off GD Booster when you are trying to make changes to your design etc, to make sure that you can see the changes on the frontend when refreshing your pages.
Then turn on again after you finished customizing. Not sure which links you are talking about but normally by adding
target="_blank"to your links.

It depends if you want users to submit a select list of ailments (then you would use a multiselect custom field you can add to the advanced search) or you want them to ad lib their ailments 🙂 (then you would use tags, and use a tag cloud widget).
There is no widget to list states, only a popular location widget which will list all cities.
But you can add a shortcode to a page to create a page like this:
http://wpgeo.directory/all-locations/This is the shortcode: [gd_location_switcher]
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/#switchNo idea … is it only that GD addon, are any other giving the same problem?
Have you tried unpacking locally and uploading by FTP?Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, then we can have a look for you.
“Featured” will be available to admin for all CPTs as soon you enable the Payment addon.
It will not be available to your users unless you create a package that is “Featured”.
You can create 2 free packages, one featured and one not if you want to give your users the choice. We have a ‘story/article’ section that I was going to handle with WordPress posts. What would be the benefits, if any, of handling that under CPT?
Then your visitors can search from the same GD search widget, if stories are location specific you can add them to maps, you can add custom fields easily, consistency of comment system; or simply put: you can create WP posts but with a lot more options.
You’re welcome 🙂
For future reference: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/You had ticked “Show default location results on home page (First time only, if geodirectory home page is your site home page and user comes to home page).” which meant you were showing results for Sydney and you have no listings there.
I changed that setting at GD > Multilocations > SettingsYou mean you delete them in the database? That will be why.
The correct way to delete is at GD > Custom Post Types in the admin area.
Just deleting something in the database does not delete all the relevant connections between all the tables in the database, you have to do it in the admin area.“Featured” is a Price Package feature essentially. But admins can also change it.
Attractions and Events are 2 default CPTs and the rest are added.
You can create a CPT that does not require any address at all:
1. Create the CPT
2. Go to GD > General > General tab > Select CPT to disable physical locationIf job listings are added as Events (for example with a closing date), then they can be linked to the Place, if the Job and Place is submitted by the same user.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/events-addon-widgets/#eventYou can create an admin only custom field, that creates a badge for selected listings.
