In V2 that widget is called “GD > Listings”.

Thanks
And what is the URL please?
March 22, 2019 at 5:12 am in reply to: Specific Location (Suburb) Search for Business Categories #475843The closest solution for you is:
Create a category field, which is what you have done. A selection from that field will limit the results to any listing that is in that category.
The Search For field: this will compare the queries added there with the listing titles, description and taxonomies (tags and categories) of the listings.
The near/location field. That field can only search the addresses assigned to listings. It cannot search tags of the listings.
That is how the search works.
If you select plumbers in the category field, and then select a suburb in the location field, the results page will list all plumbers that have that suburb in their address. To hide the Search For field use this CSS:
.gd-search-field-search {display: none}Thanks

This reply has been marked as private.V2 is a lot more flexible than V1. There is not one standard “look” anymore, each website can be made unique.
If you can explain what is not working, then we can help.V2 documentation is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/
Thanks
You are watching videos for V1.
V2 does not have its own social buttons, but you can install third party social plugins.
To add the Claim Listing button to the Detail page, you must add the “GD > Post Claim” widget to the sidebar.
I added it for you.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/To get a login, you can add the “UWP > Login” widget.
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
The strange characters are the result of your earlier import, where you used “illegal” characters, see image.
Can i ask the export shows Prent as name and not number
The export of categories will show the parent category as the name in the cat_name or cat_parent columns. But will show the ID in the cat_id column.
When importing listings, you need to use the cat_id.Thanks
Export the categories,
fix the filename extensions, and
re-upload with the cat-id as is, and
choose “Update item if item with cat_id/cat_slug already exists.”For example, change 2019/03/Pulp-paper-icon to Pulp-paper-icon.png
PS: the replace option only works when using existing cat_id
For example “Tele-Service-Providers-icon” is not a valid file name, it misses an extension like .png or .jpg etc.
Also, the column name “cat_id” for the first column is missing. Thanks
I guess you mean you did a CSV file upload with category data?
Can we have a copy of the file you uploaded please. You had V1 for GD Core plugin and all V2 versions of GD themes and addons.
I fixed it, please check. Thanks -
