I keep getting a
503
Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily busy, try again later!error.
Please let us know when that is resolved. Thanks.
The maximum is five. 1 equals listview and 2 equals grid-2 etc, see https://finditsober.com/places/food-1/
You seem to want to duplicate the auto-generated Places page?
https://finditsober.com/places/There is normally no need to create any pages, other than those auto-generated.
I suggest to add the following shortcodes to a test page, so you get a better understanding of the auto-generated pages, see also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory:
[gd_location_tab_switcher] [gd_advanced_search] [gd_login_box] [gd_cpt_categories] [gd_location_switcher]Thanks
In Design>>Navigation, make sure to delete Places from all options.
Also, delete all places and place categories completely.
Thanks
Have a look at GD > Notifications.
You can activite GD > Notifications > Options tab > Use advanced editor? (slow loading)Be aware that HTML generated by WordPress will be missing paragraphs and linebreak tags, so you will have to test and adjust as required.
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
When you say “Packages only get the correct effect if added from the frontend.” do you mean when they are initially created?
I mean that the effect of packages on listings only get the correct effect if added from the frontend.
Adding a listing from the backend or import, let’s say a 3 month recurring package, will not get reminders or renewals. The payment contract must be authorized by the user at the gateway for that to take effect. Without that gateway notification to your GD setup, the package payment settings will have no effect.Renewal notices are sent to the owner of the listing, and only if there is a valid gateway notification for that listing.
As for paying listings, if it’s a listing that normally would be paid for and they didn’t pay and I renew it manually are you saying they will receive a notification stating the listing was published and paid even if they didn’t pay?
When publishing a draft listing, an email is generated to the owner of the listing.
If you set an invoice to paid, an email is generated to the owner.
The owner of the listing can be changed before you take all of the above steps. And you may have to delete any pending invoices for the old owner too, to prevent notifications. Thanks
November 24, 2018 at 7:11 am in reply to: Place thumbnails showing intermittently on search page #455743Can you give us the URL of such a listing, and also WP admin details in a private reply so we can have a look. Thanks
You need to add a Google Map API for your maps to work:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/These are your errors:
You have included the Google Maps JavaScript API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
Google Maps JavaScript API warning: KeyLooksLikeProjectNumber https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#key-looks-like-project-number
Google Maps JavaScript API error: InvalidKeyMapError
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-key-map-errorThanks

I suggest you check the listings that have broken images.
Let us know.Thanks
Changes to packages only take effect for new listings added after the change.
If they are recurring, the contract entered into sets renewal for every 3 months. That contract will stay honored until the user or you cancel it; not by changing package settings. Thanks
Packages only get the correct effect if added from the frontend.
So if you re-publish from the backend, they will stay published, but you can set it to expire using the backend settings. But it will not trigger a reminder if done from the backend.
If you renew from the frontend and set the payment to “done”, be aware that the user will get emails letting them know that their listing is published and paid etc.Possibly the best idea is to get unpaid listings downgrade to the most basic of listings you have, rather than going to draft. That prevents dead links too.
Thanks
You can find the documentation here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/
If you first had installed V1, then you need to convert correctly, or start with a new database:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/overview/Did you use the Setup Wizard?
If you need to run it again: GD > Settings > click on help in the top right corner > and you will find the wizard on the left. Thanks
November 23, 2018 at 11:51 pm in reply to: Search result not correct when searching City, State or Country #455721Just make sure the marker is on the correct spot. Then the latitude and longitude will be automatically correct.
If importing the listings, the marker is placed based on the latitude and longitude used for import. Thanks
You can add anything you like in the street address after setting the marker on the map.
You can “rename” the city, but it is not always the best idea.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/manage-location/#mergeThe developers may have better ideas too. Thanks
Make sure to click “Set on map” when adding listings.
Possibly you added the listings before you activated the Location Manager.
You will have to re-save all listings after setting the marker correctly. You can also do that by exporting and re-importing the listings, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/
There is no need to add locations at MultiLocations: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/manage-location/#edit
Thanks
