And ask your host to check what is sending the spam.
Do you have https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/gd-recaptcha/ installed to protect your listings’ contact forms?Make sure you only install well-maintained plugins and keep everything up to date.
October 23, 2018 at 11:34 am in reply to: Modify gd_listing appearance to display vertically #450946You’re welcome 🙂
You are hiding that search field, delete this code:
.gd-search-field-search { display: none; }October 23, 2018 at 10:19 am in reply to: Modify gd_listing appearance to display vertically #450939Make sure you use the 2 column grid: layout=”gridview_onehalf”
Then add this CSS:.home ul.geodir-category-list-view.geodir-gridview.gridview_onehalf>li { width: 100%; float: left; }October 23, 2018 at 9:59 am in reply to: LMv2 — Locations Based on Geographic Areas, Not Cities? #450935You can define your own locations like that if you like, but if users can add listings too, then the API used will create other locations every time.
Postal Code is not a required field by default.
Postal Code will only display if entered as part of the listing.
The requirements for different packages and memberships etc will require your own custom coding.
Thanks
The title is automatically added if you use the Advanced Search addon.
You will need to add some custom CSS to the different section. But without seeing I am not sure I understand correctly. Add your URL if we need to have a look.
ThanksAdd the location switcher: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
And create a WP test page with those shortcodes:
[gd_location_tab_switcher]
[gd_advanced_search]
[gd_login_box]
[gd_cpt_categories]
[gd_location_switcher]And most should become clear. See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory

https://www.calmeffect.com/location/united-states/
https://www.calmeffect.com/location/united-states/florida
https://www.calmeffect.com/location/united-states/florida/aventura/That looks like a FontAwesome conflict between 2 applications, I alerted the developers.

Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if we need to have a closer look.
Thanks1. The purpose of the pins is that if you have a map on the same page, hovering the pin will indicate where the listing is on the map.
Example: https://wpgeo.directory/docs/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&sgd_placecategory%5B%5D=&sgeodir_dis_park%5B%5D=&sgeodir_range%5B%5D=&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=2. Just add a map to one of the GD Search widget sections.
Thanks
October 23, 2018 at 9:25 am in reply to: Default to selected cities in the Enabled Cities List #450923Please see more at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#location
Every location in your database needs to be in this format Country > Region > City.
If you use more than one country, you must use Country > Region > City in your permalinks: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/#locationTo get the correct configuration, drag the marker and you will see what the correct Google API data is.
If you have locations in your database that do not meet the Google API criteria, you will forever need to merge data: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/manage-location/#editHopefully it is clearer now. Thanks
Search results are ordered by latest if that is the default sort order, and visitors don’t enter any search terms. Change the default order to Featured if that is what you prefer. From
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/searching-and-browsing/#searchIf a visitor clicks Search without adding any keywords, the results will be ordered based on the settings at GD > Place [or other CPT] Settings > Sorting Options tab.
If you want to give visitors easy access to the Listings and Location pages in case they have no search terms, provide direct links to those pages using the Location Switcher and Popular Categories or CPT Categories widgets.
