The default custom fields cannot be deleted, but they can be set to inactive.
Regarding the address field, you are on the correct track now.

If you have any other questions, feel free to start a new topic.

Try showing all listings on the map by going to
GD > Design > Map tab > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP > UN-TICK anything that is ticked there.
No Custom Post Type should be ticked if you want the maps to show.

My test merge worked, although I encountered a strange message, see image.

another bug with with genesis theme – in main menu: submenus are not working anymore, submenu (navigation) are not loading anymore after installing LMV2.
Marc, what child theme are you using? My test site has Genesis Executive Pro and my menus are working fine.

Use the GD Home sections.
