#2 Personally, I would go with custom fields: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#multiselect
Maybe better not to delete the categories but export and rename and re-import.
#3 You cannot do that with the current setup of your categories, you will need to choose Ajax Chained at GD > Place Settings > Custom Fields > Categories
Thanks
March 16, 2018 at 10:51 pm in reply to: Displaying the Hyperlink to Linked Business in various places #421805Have you considered using the Franchise Manager for restaurant and their meals?
It might be a better solution all round: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/franchise-manager-add-on/See an example here: https://wpgeo.directory/docs/places/united-states/new-jersey/toms-river/transport/classic-cars/#gd_tab_franchises
March 16, 2018 at 1:10 pm in reply to: How to Hide Specific Categories from displaying on the detail listing? #4217331. Add and adjust this CSS:
.sd-detail-cat-links img {margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px;}
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/ for more tweaks.
2. What is it that decides the order that the categories display, and can this be changed?
By category ID. You can try changing the IDs in the database.
3. What is it that decides which category icon is displayed on the map?
The category that is set as the default category.Everythings seems to work fine for me, see images.
Just try adding a listing, you’ll see.Thanks
Thanks for letting us know.

Please post your WP admin details and URL in a private reply and we will check your settings.
I assume you have gone through the steps at
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/prices-and-payments-add-on-overview/Thanks
The licenses that are part of your membership are at https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
Deactivate the old canceled licenses, and re-enter the new ones.
Let us know how that went.
ThanksThere is no option for that, other than to add a different CPT called “out of area brokers”. You can then optionally turn off addresses completely for that CPT [in which case they will not have any maps or addresses].
ThanksMarch 15, 2018 at 9:56 pm in reply to: How to Hide Specific Categories from displaying on the detail listing? #421637You can only hide all categories or none, there is no option to only hide some.
ThanksDid you try what Alex suggested?
If they are all on the exact same spot, then there is nothing you can do about it. Before opening a map bubble, the system needs to know which of the listings on the same spot you want to open.
If they are not on the exact same spot, zoom in or use the Marker Cluster addon.
Thanks
March 15, 2018 at 11:28 am in reply to: How to Hide Specific Categories from displaying on the detail listing? #4215691. That depends on the theme, so we would need URL and WP admin details in a private reply.
2. A listing cannot be in a sub-category without being in the parent category.
Thanks
Let’s start with 5, and be as clear and short as you can. Then you will not be annoying 🙂
Add URLs of pages and WP admin in a private reply.
Once we get through the five first ones, we can have a look at the next ones. Thanks
I can confirm that is the case. I’ll get a developer to have a look too.
