Have a look at
Places (or any other CPT) > Settings > General tab > Show Advanced > Template Page Settings

But I am guessing you are using the Supreme theme.
The GD Archive or GD Search page should automatically adjust if you disable addresses for the CPT.

Please post your URL and WP admin details if we need to have a look at your settings, and also include details of the CPT in question.

Go to GD > Settings > Pages > Archive Item page > Edit and replace the content with the Listimia content which you can find at GD > Settings > Pages > Archive Item page > View default content [see image 1 and 2].

That is the standard WP excerpt, but GD does not use that.
If you want to use an admin only textarea field [which is similar to an excerpt] you can create that as a custom field.

I cannot find the reason.
It works fine for adding new Event packages, but not for gd_place CPTs etc.
