Are you adding each listing to a category?
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if you want us to check your settings.
ThanksHi Steve, have a look at https://www.shoutmeloud.com/how-to-delete-uninstall-w3-total-cache-wordpress-plugin.html
You are understanding the “category to untick” correctly.
Well done ! 🙂
And thanks for letting us know.Have a look at https://www.shoutmeloud.com/how-to-delete-uninstall-w3-total-cache-wordpress-plugin.html to make sure to get rid of the plugin leftovers completely.
Stiofan will look at your issue tomorrow, he does not work in the weekend.Your Map API has expired:
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#expired-key-map-errorSee also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/
Thanks
What is your setting at
GD > Design > Map tab > Select category to untick by default on map
and
GD > Design > Map tab > Enable map cache? Please post WP admin details if we need to have a look.
PS: w3total cache is not suitable for GD.
This is what I would do (if I understand correctly):
1. Create a SELECT custom field with the COURTHOUSES listed. Make it a required field.
2. Add that to the GD Search: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#select
3. Use categories for SERVICES (lawyer, counsellor, etc).
Add that to the GD Search too if you like: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#cat
Also create a category “courthouses” if you want to add a listing for each courthouse itself.4. Let the Location Manager deal with the REGIONS automatically.
Now a visitor to your site can select from the GD Search: service type, courthouse, location and search any free text.
Look in the sidebar on the top for the Location Manager and the Neighborhoods in action:
https://wpgeo.directory/docs/location/united-states/pennsylvania/philadelphia/You’re welcome 🙂
No problems 🙂
A listing cannot be in more than one CPT, but it can be in more than one category if you would use only one CPT.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/places-categories-and-listings/Linking can only be in one direction: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-custom-post-types/
With the Custom Post Types addon, you can translate that slug at GD > Custom Post Types > and edit the slug.
Normally, if searching for something, it is “Search [plural of CPT] For : ‘[search for term]’ ‘Near search term”
For example: Search Events For : ‘party’ ‘Amsterdam’You can translate “Search” and “For :” separately, for example “Search” and “for:”, so the result becomes
Search Events for: ‘party’ ‘Amsterdam’If you translate “Places” that will be translate “Places” on other pages too, so you should only translate it with something similar like “Businesses” or “Listings” etc.
You’re welcome 🙂
I moved the files to the correct folder at /wp-content/languages/plugins/ where it should be, see step 7 of https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
