The problem you are having is that you added “select a category” on top of the CPT selector in your child theme’s functions.php file.
Therefore it looks like the search bar is not adjusting to the CPT on the page, but it actually is.Please post URL and WP admin details in a private reply if we need to check things out.
Also give us the URL of the page where we can see the error.
I’ll get a developer to have a look, possibly only after the weekend. Thanks.Do your maps work for the Places?
Lat and lng just work in the background, they are auto calculated by default.
I am guessing you have this setting:
GD > Places Settings > Custom Fields tab > Address field > Show latitude and longitude > NO
Just change that to YES.Let us know how you went. Thanks
Thanks for letting us know.
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#multiselect
Your options should be likehonden,poezen,muizennot
honden/1,poezen/1,muizen/1Let us know how you went. Thanks
1. You can hide the CPT selector with CSS, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#search
2. I don’t understand the question. Are you saying that on the Jobs CPT page, the CPT selector does not adjust to the CPT?
Post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can understand better. Thanks
Hi Harko, please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can check.
Which field is that, and in which CPT?Thanks
This reply has been marked as private. You automatically have a different search bar for each CPT if added to the Listings pages, see
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#cptYou cannot have a separate dropdown for categories and sub-categories, they will all be added to the same dropdown.
Thanks
You should just get a notification that they need updating.
But you should never make changes to any of the plugin files if you can avoid it.
Most if not all changes can be made without touching the original files. Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.I don’t think the paid claim system will work, because you already seem to have added the listings using the only permanent paid package you have. So if users claim a listing, they will inherit a permanent paid listing already.
You need to add unclaimed listings as free, and then force an upgrade on claiming, if you want users to pay when they claim a listing. It’s working fine for me, see image.
Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply please.
And also exactly what you are trying to change.
ThanksYou can just give your users author access, and give them access to the backend, then they can edit any post.
GD > General > Allow user to see wp-admin area > YES
WP Settings > New User Default Role > Contributor or authorYou can also find some user role plugins that may assist.
Thanks
