How did you downgrade? If you downgrade from the backend manually, you might have to re-save WP permalinks. If the downgrade is done automatically by the system on expiry, that should not be necessary.
ThanksYes, that will break things: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#theme-my-login
Thanks 🙂
Install the theme first, and then the GD plugin.
I am not familiar with “the Boss theme one click installer” so I would just install the plugin the normal way: Plugins > add new.
I’ll check on the pre-sale email too. Thanks. The fieldset is the tab. And will only become active if the user adds something in the HTML custom field below it.
If you select Details page own tab at the Show in what locations? selections, then a new tab will be created for the custom fields ordered under this fieldset, and which also have Details page own tab selected.
Although the listing may be assigned to 5 categories, there is only 1 listing.
Only the date the listing is added is relevant for ordering of listings.
It doesn’t matter when the user registered.
I hope that answered your question.
ThanksThe selection of categories there can only be done by an admin, so that is the only reason that it would be different. Thanks
Create a fieldset and an HTML field below that.
Then your users can edit any content in a new tab.
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#fieldset for the settings required. Thanks
That is a different topic you posted for that: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/best-seo-set-up/
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
Paolo, I think it is part of the theme. In Customizer there is an option to change the page background.
I cannot get it to work from there, so it might be a question for Avada.I cannot figure it out, something is hiding the links to the categories, they are there, but just not showing up. Hopefully Paolo can figure it out. Thanks
You seem to be using for plugin for custom backgrounds, so compare your settings from the one site to the other, or seek support from them.
Each page has particular body classes you can target, see image.
So you should be able to target certain pages like this without that pluginbody.post-type-archive-gd_place { background-image: url(http://www.stayscotland.scot/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/IMG_9490.jpg); background-position: left top; background-size: cover; background-repeat: repeat; background-attachment: fixed; }See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
You seem to be using some admin redirection plugins and a different recaptcha plugin than
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/gd-recaptcha/Also I get “Invalid Username/Password.” with those credentials.
So please turn off those plugins temporarily and check the username and password. Thanks
Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
That explains how to add the correct links to your main menu, and by default, anyone signing up after clicking that link will be redirected to the Add Listing page instead of the home page. Thanks
May 8, 2017 at 10:05 pm in reply to: Having a problem with category map & Default feature image.. #377486You need to re-save your WP permalinks after you change the settings at GD permalinks. That will update all the links correctly to
http://phillyko.com/places/pennsylvania/blue-bell/academy/
instead of
http://phillyko.com/places/blue-bell/academy/The setting at GD > Design > Listings > Upload listing no image, will add an image to the Listings and Search pages only, not to the detail page for the listing.
Because your users have no access to your media library, images need to be uploaded a different way.
That is one of the reasons GD does not use the WP media. Thanks
