Normally, you replace the logo with your own.
And you can always use a normal WP page for the home page of your site, you don’t need to use the GD Home page.
ThanksYou can have as many as you like in the GD slider widget, just have a look at the settings of the widget.
ThanksThose fields are only for listings added orclaimed from the frontend.
If you only add listings from the backend yourself then those fields are not relevant.
ThanksI reminded Stiofan to have a look at your post.
Sorry for the delay. Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, so I can explain better.
GD Listing map is for Search and Listings and Detail pages.
GD Home map is for GD Home/Location pages, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/Every country, region and city has its own page: if you use the location switcher, you can navigate to the equivalent page for
yoursite/location/spain/madrid/madridThanks
You can use the location switcher, so you can navigate to the equivalent page for
yoursite/location/spain/madrid/madrid
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#mainGD pages are not created with shortcodes but widgets, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory
Shortcodes are to be used for WP pages or posts.April 11, 2017 at 9:21 am in reply to: Custom Post Types not retaining or displaying CPT information #372910Can you de-activate all plugins you don’t use or don’t need, this is most likely a conflict.
I already de-activated your caching plugin, but you seem also to be on a managed WP server. Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/server-requirements/#wpThanks
You mean that the page selected at GD permalinks is a different page selected now?
Or that the content of the page has been changed? Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
The page selected at GD > Permalinks > GD Home page should be “Location” if you want to use a non-GD page as your site’s homepage. Thanks
You need to add widgets to the GD Home sections, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory
I’ll let Stiofan answer the other question, but he may want your WP admin for the other site.
Thanks
ALIVE DAYS: is the length of the package, for example 365 if the package is for a year.
Will be zero if the package has no end date or is added from the back end.EXPIRE DATE: is when the current listing expires, or “never” if the package has no end date or is added from the back end.
You can change the link text to the “terms and conditions” in the language file, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Thanks
GD support staff is dotted all round the world, so there should be someone able to help at any time.
ThanksI can log in now, but please make it an administrator account. Thanks
You will have to overwrite with FTP, or use this plugin: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy
It does not show an update because the new version is using a different license system. Please test the admin details before posting again, they still do not work.
