Logged out people will see the login page, logged in users will not.Looks all fine to me … but you have to be logged out. The login page is not for logged-in users.

S2member together with Buddypress should be able to achieve all that without special coding knowledge [depending what that means to you 🙂 ].
The last bit “Non members can register to event directly thru paypal.” can maybe be done with formidable pro forms depending on the requirements.

Two possible causes I can think of:
1. You navigated to a location where there are no listings in that CPT
