You’re welcome 🙂
Thanks for letting us know.
I added the CSS again that I had entered to fit the logos. That is the only way to shrink the logos to fit.
January 7, 2017 at 11:40 pm in reply to: Doesn't work with my theme? Says compatible. Would take a lot of custom CSS? #3386151. There is a plugin or theme interfering with your GD > Permalinks page. I am guessing it is your theme.
2. The gd-homepage should be accessed at /location/ if you are not using GD as your site’s homepage, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
However, the page is viewable anyway, there is no login request for that page.3. You entered latitute and longitude data for your default location. These should be in a decimal format, and they are automatically calculated at any rate. I fixed it for you.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#defloc4. GD is only 100% compatible with WPML.

Your theme does not support GD. However it supports WPML so it might be possible to add WPML.Thanks.
I added some CSS in GD > Weergave > Scripts to shrink the logos for the listing display.
The full width map as in the GDF demo is because of the GD Framework theme. I am not sure if that is possible with your theme, I’ll get Paolo to have a look at that for you.
You could use the same settings as the theme:
#geodir-wrapper { max-width: 1200px; margin: 0 auto; }If there is anything you are not happy with, make sure to give us a URL so we know what you are talking about.
Add this CSS:
#geodir-wrapper { width: 80%; margin: auto; }Let us know how you went. Thanks.
URL and WP admin details please. Thanks.
That is not possible, I already have given you all the possibilities.
Thanks.
You have some plugin that renders the GD Search widget inactive. It is added to all your pages, but it does not show on the frontend.
I added it as a shortcode to a page so you can see it at work: http://bcautodealers.com/guust/A search for GM takes you here: http://bcautodealers.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=gm&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
Like I said before, if you want a permanent page with all GM listings, you need to use a GM category or GM tags.
Or you can link to the search result page I just posted above.Sub-categories are still categories. They are just categories with a parent.
If you want sub-categories shown under their parent categories, have a look at the CPT Categories widget.

Please provide your WP admin details in a private reply, so I can add the proper search to your pages. Make sure to tick the “Set as private reply” box.
You cannot have http://www.bcautodealers.com/gd-home/gm as a URL.
If there is a category called GM, then you can have …/places/gm
If you use tags, you can have a URL like this …/places/tags/gm/Please reply to this post instead of starting a new topic.
ThanksJanuary 7, 2017 at 3:24 am in reply to: What recommend for companies/individuals in GD and BP? #338322— How register: Does an Individual (employee) or Company (as an entity) register? Do they register in BuddyPress first and then create the GD business directory entry?
Correct. People register a user account and then create listings for businesses or events— Can there be both Company and Individual BuddyPress entries that then link to the Company profile on GD?
BuddyPress is for users. If an employee of a company wants to register using the company name they can. Or you can create a BP field for company names of employees. This is really a BP question you should ask at https://buddypress.org/— How should the connection between GD and BP be shown? eg on GD directory profile, how show a link to the company BP profile or the employee BP profile? Just a simple link?
A user that adds a listing can have a link to his profile on the detail page of the listing if that is how you set up the Listings Claim addon.— Is there any issue with losing the GD business entry if the employee who created the entry leaves the company and deletes their BP profile?
Any user that deletes his or her account will also automatically delete all their listings. They will get a warning like “Deleting your account will delete all of the content you have created. It will be completely irrecoverable.”
Allowing user account deletion is optional in BP.Thanks
I did not do anything, I just checked your settings and tested it.
