Doesn’t the system check expiry date to see if there will be a problem renewing before hand?
Thanks, guys! This would be great once it’s implemented.
The other solution is to allow a “featured” icon upload field, if you don’t want to upscale and pixelate. This also has the advantage of allowing us to use a graphically unique marker if we want.
Thanks again!
Thanks, Guust. That’s a good solution. We will look into that.
Well, that’s what led to the problem. We wanted to then nest the categories under the two main categories, but in adding listings we feel as though it’s not very clear and most people would simply not realize the second drop down from the bottom category dropdown is available for (sub)categories.
I AM seeing the sorting option now but only when I go to the listing page WITHOUT searching. I don’t understand why the sorting option would not be visible for someone who searches from the home page. Wouldn’t they want to sort those results by reviews, etc.?
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks, I looked and found what you were referring to. But I guess I don’t understand. I don’t want the contact name field to show up as a separate search value, but that if someone searched for a name in the “Search for…” main field GD would search the Contact Name field, too, and return results.
Also, I’ve added sorting parameters to one of our CPTs (Farrier), but I don’t see it showing up in the search results page. They are active. Sorry I can’t figure this out.
Stiofan, you were correct. It was the Stripe feed. There was a checkbox I missed when creating. It’s now fixed. Thanks for your help.
I think this is happening because of another issue I’m having – the newly paid listing is being set to DRAFT. So, I gather it’s not viewable until changed from DRAFT – which we are trying to troubleshoot.
Either way, I would seem as though your code should be able to determine the status of the new listing and display appropriate language, such as:
DRAFT LISTING: “You listing has been submitted for review and will be approved and live shorty unless otherwise notified. The listing will not be publicly viewable until it is approved”
PUBLISHED: SAME as you have.
Where would we make this change?
This reply has been marked as private.Yes, it was Stripe, and yes, I put the hook link in. The payment went through in Stripe and GD, but GD marked it as DRAFT.

Paolo,
Thanks for your response. We are very happy with the theme overall and wouldn’t change it. We were just wondering if it was possible to make those changes. We can make it work the way it is.
One other quick question if you don’t mind. I was looking through the Claim Listing addon docs, but couldn’t find the answer. Is it possible to alert the business owner that they have a listing to claim? It would be ideal in our situation if they could be alerted automatically that they have a listing to claim so we don’t have to contact them manually. Would save a ton of time.
Thanks again for your help!
