    how about the version of php that it is running? does that matter?
    I still have 5.6. what version is best?

    So not sure what all that means but it seems like it is the server size from what I have read. I do have a VPS server through Dreamhost with RAM: 1000 MB | Storage: 7.2 of 30 GB so increasing the RAM a little should help a bit but it really needs to go up a bunch to work best.

    I also have a dozen or so other sites running on it with just basic wordpress with posts/images with smushit for compressing images.

    I don’t have many plugins at all other than GD ones on the GD site.

    I of course am caught in the I am not making money from the site yet so it’s hard to pay more for hosting but want it to be faster to get more to pay…

    But sooo getting there!

    I had it set to just author so it allowed them to create a post. I fixed it. thanks

    not sure what that means… where is the physical location enabled setting?

    I have it set up on one site right now where it shows that it is not required. (no red star next to the box where people filling out the listing form see.)

    all of the other options in the form title, description, etc have the option to not have the information be required. The location/address does not have this option.

    I am looking at Events> settings> custom fields>list of fields that show in form> address

    I still want them to be able to add the location – not just have it be required information. It’s for an event.

    I am looking for more help with all the settings and which pages to use to login etc… should I be using UsersWP or the regular GD pages? How do I connect claim listings to payments? How do I connect add listing to payments? How do I add different things to the sidebars for logged in users? I don’t know what half the settings actually mean.
    I just change one thing and see what happens on the front end and I usually get it but it takes a few hours.

    ok that works to add it to show in the profile… but shouldn’t it show in the GD dashboard link I put in the sidebar? I guess I can take that off so it doesn’t confuse ppl.

    It would be impossible to drag the marker to the various locations – I don’t know where they are!

    Sometimes the set on map works though…

    What was it with the Google Map API – that they were charging for it now or something?
