Hi Paola,
another member reported this, unfortunately I’m not able to recreate, nor provide an immidiate fix. We will need the help of the devs who have all been alerted.
We’ll keep you posted.
Thanks
Please provide FTP in case he needs it, I’ve seen a plugin to manage DB installed, so that should be enough.
Thanks
Hi,
I really have no idea what might have happened here. I flag it as urgent for Stiofan.
He’ll let you know asap.
Thanks for your patience
Hi,
This is really strange.
I see thousands of redirect rules on your .htaccess file created by redirection plugin.
What are you using this plugin for?
Could you please provide FTP credentials, I want to try to rename the htaccess file and test with a new one to see if the problem persist.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
what are you using to generate the sitemap?
I have no idea where they are picking up those wrong URLs… They are nowhere to be found on your website.
One big mistake I see is in your locations. It seems to be totally wrong.
I see a location called All (shouldn’t exists), I see Bologna, Emilia Romagna (should be Bologna) and many other things look wrong in there.
If you provide admin credentials I’ll tell you more.
Thanks
Hi,
what do you mean by custom pages and what isn’t working exactly?
Pages are working just fine in our test websites.
Please provide also a URL and admin credentials in a private reply, so that we can have a look.
Thanks
p.s. please always open your own topics and avoid posting in announcements for problem about your website.
Hi,
Not only the .com is moved in your URL and the cpt name is missing before the country name in the URL too.
However I can’t recreate this on any of our test website, please provide admin credentials and we will have a look.
Thanks
That will remove it completely.
Otherwise to modify the title output it’s a bit more complex and you can follow this post here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/change-entry-title-for-category-pages/
Some php knowledge will be required here.
Thanks
Hi,
that isn’t a search page, but a listings page.
Try this in the functions.php file of your active theme:
remove_action( 'geodir_listings_page_title', 'geodir_action_listings_title', 10 );Hi,
you could use a widget in the header right widget area of GDF and than with css accomodate a banner. I’m not sure currently it would accomodate it. Porbably it is too narrow.
To have the menu flating right you need to reduce it’s width and make it float right. Again this are CSS edits, there is no option to do this from the back end.
Thanks
Hi,
did you set your permalinks to something different than default? Possibly postname.
If your permalinks aren’t the problem, please provide a URL and admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.
Let us know,
Hi,
we are investigating what happened. Apparently the popular post view widget is no longer stripping HTML in the excerpt.
This as been reported already earlier today and the developers are already alerted.
We will provide a fix asap.
Thanks for your patience,
Hi,
GeoDirectory uses a custom database structure. UNless a plugin is built specifically for it, you won’t find one ready made, capable of doing that.
Thanks
Map in users profile is not a current option, you could suggest it here though: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
Thanks
Hi,
emails are sent to the email in Settings >> General option page of WordPress, not to admins.
If your email is different from the main website email, you could try a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bcc-everything/
I’m sure there is another one a member mentioned recently, that has been tested and works, but I can’t find it.
Let us know if this one is the final solution.
Thanks
