Please try addding the CSS in GeoDirectory >> design >> scripts >> custom css.
It should work with GD Booster active.
Let us know,
Thanks.
Hi,
I know Facebook has changed how their API works again and Stiofan already fixed a problem. I’m not sure if this is the same problem, so I’ve flagged this for him.
He’ll let you know asap.
Thanks
Hi webfolkster,
it does what it says, if you untick it removes the location switcher from the menu. I’m not sure what else you would expect to happen.
If you don’t want the location switcher in the main navigation, the only alternative way to add it is via shortcodes: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/
There are 2 alternatives :
[gd_location_tab_switcher]
This one looks like the location switcher added to the menu. Ideal for sidebars or any other widget area. (make sure text widgets are parsing shortcodes)
or
[gd_location_switcher]
Which requires a page and looks like this: http://wpgeo.directory/all-locations/
Thanks
Hi,
please try to add your changes in GeoDirectory >> Design >> Scripts >> Custom CSS.
If that doesn’t work we would need to have a look at your website, in that case please provide URL and admin credentials in a private reply.
Thanks
Thanks for lettings us know!
July 24, 2015 at 9:48 pm in reply to: Why does the Home topsection look like this? There is padding and margin around #46845Hi,
please go to GDF Options >> Home settings >> Site Width and set 98 % instead of 1040px.
That will make all your website full width leaving just a little margin on the side.
Let us know how you went.
Thanks
Hi,
please let us know if we can disable all non GD plugins momentarely to see if that solves the issue.
It will become much faster finding the culprit.
Let us know,
Thanks
You are welcome. 🙂
Hi,
I’m not sure I see any problem on your website, all maps seem to be working correctly to me…
I guess you fixed it by yourself?
Let us know,
Thanks
We are talking about memory size allocated to PHP (RAM).
It’s a pretty common server configuration and Googling: WordPress Fatal error: Allowed memory size you wil find plenty of examples.
You can have that incresed via php.ini file, .htaccess file or even via wp-config.php file. It all depends if your server admin allows you to override the limit set by him.
Thanks
Hi,
you installed the integration, without having AffiliateWP installed, which is required (as specified on the add-on page).
Please access your server via FTP and move out the geodir-affiliate folder from the wp-content/plugins folder. This will make your website accessible again.
If you want to use AffiliateWP with GD, please make sure to install the AffiliateWP plugin 1st.
Thanks
Both GeoDirectory and Buddypress require a certain amount of memory and if you server is not allocating enough memory to php, you can use one or the other, but not the 2 combined, what kind of server is that?
Let us know,
thx
The server is telling you that you will need more memory, you can ask to your server admin to allocate more or upgrade to a more powerful server.
Thanks
This look like a bug. We flagged this for the devs and they’ll let us know as soon as they can test a bit.
Thanks for your patience,
Hi,
please go to GeoDirectory >> General >> Allow user to see wp-admin area and set yes.
If that is set to no, only admin can visit the dashboard.
Thanks
