In version 1.1.9 (current version) change log I see:

Sort by upcoming not working in GD > Event Listing widget – FIXED
Sorting by upcoming date added as second order in events widget – ADDED

Hi,

under no circumstances you should add ids when importing new listings.

They will be added automatically by the database and you shouldn’t be messing with it’s internal counting, you could be assigning an ID used by an option or a comment without knwowing and potentially crash your website.

To have the file to edit with IDs, that you can re-import and update the listings, you can export it.

It will come with the automatically assigned IDs already.
