Thankshi,
we don’t provide support for 3rd party plugins.
Please open a support ticket here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/social-connect
Thank you
Please also don’t forget to post url and login details in a private reply, so maybe other mods can help you out
1) go to appearance >> menu and create a custom menu instead of using the autogenerated menu with all pages.
Thanks
Hi,
this is strange, it looks like there could be a custom redirect (maybe in your .htaccess file) that redirects urls with the word “location” by removing the /location/ part.
Does it ring a bell? If it doesn’t please provide FTP access.
I’ve momentarely changed the location page to a different name : home-dir and it’s working now.
You also appear to have some heavy caching on that server. Sessions sometimes appear to be cached. What hosting provider are you using?
The corret map that you are talking about is in the directory home, this URL is your listings page http://www.amsterdamtourist.info/directory/, not your directory home.
Thanks
Hi,
this has been fixed, but after the lastet release, so it will be in the next version.
Thanks
Hi,
please provide wp admin credentials and I’ll have a look at your settings.
ThanksHi,
yes that isn’t a GD element. That is part of a theme.
Thanks
Hi,
It is possible with Custom Post Types when the CPT addon is installed. A new widget called : GD > CPT listings.
There isn’t one for categories though. It would ahve to be custom built.
Thanks
1) the virtual pages have changed since version 1.4.6. Documentation hasbn’t been modified yet. Now they are normal pages and they are controlled via GeoDirectory >> Permalinks settings page. It is normal that they are published.
2) You can’t. GD templates are used for GD elements, they cxan’t be used for regular pages. You will have to add adds separately to the regular pages too.
3) Once your ssl certificate is installed you simply change in wordpress settings the website URL from http:// to https://
4) GD uses wordpress functions to login, so that plugin should work. Here we explain how to redirect the login page for cases like this: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/redirecting-the-login-page/
Thanks
If you use GeoLocation, that will not happen, because if there are no listings in his area, the user will be redirected to the closest city with listings.
Thanks
1st you can try running the GD Tools to fix them (the 1st one).
If that doesn’t work, you just need to assign 4 pages (they should be there already) in the 4 slots.
That should fix all problems.
Thanks
Hi,
are all your plugins up to date?
Please go to GeoDirectory >> Permalinks settings and select which page to use for each section, in version 1.4.6 we changed how GD pages work, they are no longer virtual pages and you can assign which to use for each of the old virtual pages.
Let us know,
Thanks
