Hi YA,
sorry for the delay in replying.
I did some testing and I got lost too. I wasn’t able to have the add listing page translated and submitting the listing in the selected language.
However it is something I’m sure it’s possible to do.
I’ll ask to Stiofan to shed some light.
Thanks for your patience,
May 12, 2015 at 6:17 pm in reply to: Home Page title bar w/Avada disables listing business titles #39348Hi,
Page Title bar can be managed from Theme Options.
In WP Admin Appearance -> Theme Options -> Blog -> Page Title Bar “Check the box to show the page title bar for the assigned blog page.”
You can check/uncheck to display/hide page title in page title bar. Please let us know.
Hi,
if you bought here, you don’t need to sync with theme tailors. That is when you buy on theme tailors and you need to get support and auto updates from this website.
To download any addons just click the download link (below your avatar in the picture you attached) and download the file Geodir Payment Manager.
Thanks
I jusat had a look and I don’t see problems?
Make sure you refresh the page after shrinking your browser to see how it actually looks.
Thanks
Hi,
I can confirm that the alignment doesn’t change. WHat changes is the number of categories displayed.
The default location has more listings in more categories.
Thanks
Hi,
1) they are sent to paypal to setup and authorize the recurring payments, that Paypal will start collecting after the 3 months of trial expire.
That’s how paypal works, nothing we can change there.
2) Have you followed these instructions with attention? http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-general/#analytics
3) I’ve just tested that translation here: http://wpgeo.directory/?geodir_signup (I’ve added a 2 at the end) and it works. Is any other translated string working?
Let us know,
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.Hi David,
please read my thoughts below your points:
– Search: Giving the ability to just search everything in search not individual post-types one at a time.
This is not like that, because it would make the search extremely slow. There are technical limits too in computer programming. To make it work decently it would require a new database table for listings indexing, it is a complex matter. We have plans to include this in the future, but we don’t consider it as a urgent priority.
– Widgets: Giving the ability to have every post-type in one widget rather than lots of different widgets for different post-types.
This is like this for the same reason
– Location: The ability to search everywhere rather than individual places.
You can search everywhere. See image attached, if the everywhere location is selected the near field placeholder says “Near” and users may put whatever location they like.
However if they have selected a specific location, search will only search in that location unless you change it again. That is visible in the Near field, because it changes color and instead of near it says “In : Chicago” like the example in the 2nd image attached. It means search results returned, will be for the city selected and that looks quiet clear to me.
If they want to search for something in another location than the one selected, they just have to type the new location in the near field where “In : Chicago” is showing.
Why does it work like this? Because if a user has selected a location before searching and starts seraching int that city, he wouldn’t expect to get results from other locations…
– Locationme: An option for people to turn On, not to turn Off.
You can turn of locationme and add the button Locate me with the shortcode available.
Thank you
Hi,
did you install the custom post type addon and changed the name of the custom post type Events to something else?
If you did and still the result isn’t what you are looking for, please provide a link and wp admin credentials and we will have a look.
Thanks for letting us know,
Yes, you can still use a regualar avada child theme. It is always recommended.
Thanks
Hi,
unfortunately it isn’t. A custom jQuery script would be required.
Thanks
The best way to take care of this is to add a system for users to flag inappropriate content.
Some thing like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/report-content/ that could be easily added with their php snippet to all listings:
add_action( 'geodir_details_main_content', 'wprc_report_submission_form',60);Thanks
Hi,
no that is not possible without a code customization.
Thanks
May 12, 2015 at 3:33 pm in reply to: How to add the multilocation dropdown switcher as menu item? #39322Hi Alex,
1st make sure you have created a wp menu and assigned it to a navigation location in Appearance >> Menus
2nd go to GeoDirectory >> Design >> Navigation >> Navigation Locations and select the menu you just created.
3rd go to GeoDirectory >> MultiLocation and enable Show location switcher in menu.
Let us know how you went.
Thanks
That will require a customization.
Thank you
