there are no problems. Avada installs it’s dummy data and GD can do the same, They don’t clash and anything it does it can be changed, so I would worry too much.

I normally install a theme dummy data from the themes options is possible, in any case the result is identical.

4) you need to copy header.php from the Avada theme into the Avada Child Theme.

5) I just verified with the latest version available of Avada and 1 string isn’t exactly as shown in the example but the difference is minimal and there is only 1 div with id=main.

In any case i’ve corrected the doc and I’m reporting here the line numbers where the code to be changed can be found.

you have to list all listings Longitude and Latitude in the import.

Listings are just regular WordPress custom posts and the procedure to change a listing status from draft or pending review to published is identical.

Go to Places, click quick edit on the drafted listing and change status from draft to publish or click Edit and click the publish button.

Being WordPress posts, they can be assigned to 1 user only, WordPress doesn’t allow to assign a post to more than 1 user.

Listings are assigned to the user submitting the listing in the 1st place automatically.

Admin can override that from the backend edit post form. You will first need to change user’s role from subscriber to author, or it will not appear as an available option. Than access the listing to be assign to your new author, click on the top-right tab “Screen Options”, make sure Author checkbox is enabled, scroll down at the bottom of the page and in the Author section select your desire user.

The options described above (other than claim listing) are part of the WordPress interface.

The claim listing addon is to be used to allow users to claim a listing that they didn’t submit. Once the claim procedure is completed and approved by the admin, the listing owner is changed.
