At the moment that is not possible. Given that almost nobody uses the category multiselect, nobody reported this as of yet. I’ve added it as a task for developers to improve the add listing form.

We have never tested the plugin with visual composer.
Isn’t there an option to disable it per Custom Post Type?
If there you should disable it for Custom post type : Place as it will not work with GeoDirectory.

Do you mean remove “search for” and “near” input? If that’s what you are after, yes you can hide them with css.

Are you copying and pasting the title or typing it? Because I just tested and on our demos it works when you add an apostrophe to the title.

We don’t have any possible phone and browser available. We use emulators.
On emulator it worked and their browser is reported to be compatible with the css used: http://caniuse.com/#feat=background-img-opts

Not so funny thing, the solution provided is identical to the way we do it on GD.
We will install a blackberry simulator to try and see if we can fix it, but this will be a hard one to debug and could take some time.

We wish we could, but we don’t have enough time for them. Sooner or later we will hire someone else, train him and we will start providing this service too, but for the moment we really can’t.

Currently there isn’t or it would require to join several tables (1 for each CPT). It would be very slow.
We are considering adding an extra table so that for both Maps and Listings pages, all cpt can be queried, but it’s will take time before we can release it.

At the moment %%sep%% will add the current locaiton in archive pages. Example: http://ppl.directory/places/united-kingdom/glasgow-city/glasgow/
I see now that you are trying to add the location to the detail page title and that’s currently not possible.
