We agree @guust, unique GD css classes for the location switcher were supposed to be in 1.0.5 already.
I don’t know if the changes have been overwritten by mistake before release or if we simply forgot to do it.

To start fresh you need to drop your database tables and reinstall wordpress.
Just FYI, I did add them back and it’s working as expected now.

Hi,
there is no need to add all cities in a state. The pèlugin allow the users to add missing cities while they add new listings.
As Guust said, we would need to see the website and your settings to identify the problem.

your are viewing only places in brooklin because that is your default location and you had not the location switcher in place.
Now I added it by going to GeoDirectory > Design > Navigation and selecting on which menu you want the GD items to be added.
Now you can also see other locations.
Please let me know if this is what you expected. If not, I kindly ask you to explain to me again, maybe with an example, what is not working as expected.

that is currently not possible without modifying core files.
If you take 1 day to learn some css though, you could make the login page much better than that without plugins…

That is feasible with EVERYWHERE location… can you please provide a link (you can set reply to be private).
In new multilocation there is an option to show everywhere location in the location switcher for both Cities/Regions/Countries…Let me know,
You should reinstal and revert what you did. Probably you changed the custom post type name but not the taxonomy names?
You can update the new po file from your existing po file with poedit: http://www.marketpressthemes.com/blog/how-to-merge-two-po-files-using-poedit/

We were undecided on which would be the best way to go.
1) An admin setting that would rule for all
or
2) a checkbox below the address to allow users to control it.
