Each cpt has a unique body class that will help you writing CSS specific for each CPT…
For the default CPT that’s
single-gd_placeSo to hide the slider for places you’d need something like this:

You shouldn’t be adding anything in the file… When you save it you have to select those settings.

this normally happens when doing a search and replace of the old URL in the DB to change it with the new URL. You must use a tool that doesn’t breaks serialized options like the better search and replace plugin.

the file you download from the application is correct, you need to change settings in open office when saving.

It looks like you installed the plugin twice, if you want to fix this by yourself, just remove one of the copies from wp-content/plugins and access to your website will be re-established.
