    Hi,

the search form will clearly show that a city is selected and the search will be limited to that location. You’ll need to add a reset location link below or above the form for users to clear the selection.

Just link to your /location/ page and the location selection will be cleared.

    Thanks

    Hi,

that’s definitely a good alternative solution. In a slightly different way we do the same here.

wpgeodirectory.com is a website wpgeodirectory.com/support is a subsite that we created to keep sales site and support site with forum separated.

We did it mainly to increase page loading speed and we use the same theme on both website, but the concept is identical.

    Thanks

    Hi,

to change how search results are ordered, you’d need to rewrite the search queries and that would be an extremely complex customization.

    Thanks

maybe uncomfortable , but also totally logical as Guust explained.

It is both a restaurant and italian, so unchecking just italian will not make the marker go away, because it

    It is still a restaurant.

The system cannot do illogical things.

Maybe you should avoid using parent categories, if that’s how you want the system to work. Otherwise it will be impossible.

    Thanks

    Hi,

if you’ll ever buy one of them, you’ll notice that their features are not even comparable to ours. In addition, the best of them are really not that cheap.

    Thanks

    Hi,

modifying the select form will not be enough, selecting the parent category is mandatory for many part of the plugin (all maps for example) and you’d have to rewrite most of it to achieve what you want.

If you use checkboxes you can hide them, that way the category will still be selected and the system will continue to work.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    from : https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/

The easiest is to upload all GD languages files to /wp-content/languages/plugins/. But if you have more than a few languages you may want to put your translations in separate folders in which case they need to be as below.

    Thanks

    Hi,

we are not on the same page because that’s definitely a custom development.

For example if I search for “Health and Wellness” with our search form, the results that I get are these and they are sorted by AZ:

    http://thexpollinators.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&sort_by=az&s=+&snear=&sgd_placecategory%5B%5D=162&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

If I select “Health and Wellness” through your custom filters, I get different results.

It is the custom code that doesn’t work and we don’t provide support for customization.

    Thanks

The marker indicating the position should be there by default. If you don’t see one, either the listing is not assigned to a category or the category doesn’t have a marker assigned.

If you provide admin credentials we can have a look for you.

    Thanks
