January 17, 2017 at 6:20 pm in reply to: traslating the List of fields those appear in advance search #344611Hi,
this is how custom fields must be translated: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-fields/
Please follow that doc and let us know if you have any problems.
Thanks
Hi,
you cannot “inject” a theme sidebar in the plugin templates. That would require code customization.
What you can do is add the same widgets that you have in your regular sidebar, also in GD Sidebars.
Thanks
January 17, 2017 at 5:53 pm in reply to: Not using GD as my homepage, but want to replicate the demo experience #344598If you location page is blank, it means you haven’t added dummy data OR the widgets to the GD Home sections manually.
If you provide a link and admin credentials I’ll have a look.
Thanks
Hi,
the 1st is a search by proximity, it makes more sense when users search a zip code or a street address and it will show you listings around a specific location ordered by distance.
When you type in a city and search it calculates the distance from the center point of the city (which doesn’t make a lot of sense).
The second case is Search WITHIN a location and position them by distance (from what?) isn’t ideal.
Hope the explanation is clear enough.
Thanks,
The only solution I can think of, would be to add a X number of upload fields.
For sure there are no ready made plugin that would do that with GeoDirectory.
As far as hiring someone to complete this as a customization, I’d suggest to look into upwork.com or codeable.io.
Just be aware that it won’t be an easy and quick customization.
Thanks

if you don’t use GD as your home page, the default directory home page will be the /location/ page and you can change both page name ad slug.
Just FYI.
Thanks
You can add the default image via geodirectory >> design >> listing.
That will be visible only in the archives, while in the detail page nothing will appear.
You can also define a default image for each category if you prefer and you can do that via Places >> Place category.
Thanks
January 17, 2017 at 5:32 pm in reply to: Event Expired dates admin dashboard to not match front end #344554Hi,
the date on the front end is the Event date (when the event takes place), the expiration in the back end has nothing to do with that, it is the expiration of the listing.
You have the option to get the BBC for Expire listings notification.
GeoDirectory >> Notifications >> Site BBC options.
Thanks
There is not, I’m sorry.
Hi,
it is still too experimental and not enough popular for us to invest any time on it now.
We have much more important things to do in our roadmap.
As I said:
I see that this support WooCommerce and also custom post types, maybe you can ask him to integrate GeoDirectory https://wordpress.org/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/.
If and when a large number our members will press us to work on it, which will mean it won’t be an experimental things anymore but will be mainstream, we will definitely consider it.
Thanks
January 17, 2017 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Default Listing Image not showing in: Visual Composer – Posts Grid #344545You are welcome 🙂
Hi,
that’s how it works. The regular WP search widget should search listings by tags too.
Thanks
At the moment we extended cpt/Category, which is what most members asked for.
If many other users in the future will request the tags parameter to be added too, we will consider it.
Next version should be released by the end of this week.
Thanks
